GWO Modules

Overview

Qualify for essential safety standards from the Global Wind Organization (GWO), to allow you to work in the renewable and wind energy industry with the necessary knowledge to avoid injuries.

If you’re working in the industry, GWO certification is proof of a certain level of skills and knowledge, and demonstrates your ability to identify any risks to human safety and to take the necessary action to safeguard human life.

There are numerous opportunities in the wind power workforce, and as investment in renewable energy grows those opportunities will only continue to increase. Some of the jobs available for those interested include:

Manufacturing                       Transportation                         Installation                        Maintenance                        Transmission                           Offshore Wind

If you’re interested in joining the growing wind power workforce, we can help you with training to get you there. Ask us about GWO training and other opportunities today!

This safety standard was developed by the members of the GWO in recognition of the need for industry-wide basic safety training, and to ensure that the wind industry safety training delivered by different accredited providers is of a comparable standard of competency and proficiency.

Providers are audited in depth and together, the GWO training they deliver is part of a platform of safety across the industry that helps to improve health and safety on work sites.

Choose from the GWO training modules below, or if you’re looking to complete all four modules together, head over to the Basic Safety Training Package.
